Introductory Sign Language

(Ages 6 Months – 5 Years)

In addition to academic tutoring, I offer structured early language enrichment sessions introducing foundational American Sign Language for infants, toddlers, and preschool-aged children.

I come from a family of educators and sign language professionals and grew up alongside a deaf sibling. Early communication development is something I value deeply, and I approach it with both structure and warmth.

These sessions are calm, play-based, and designed to strengthen early expressive language while actively involving parents in the learning process. Consistent reinforcement at home is key to success, and I provide clear guidance to make that easy.

A typical two-week introductory cycle may include:

• 5 foundational signs introduced over 4 sessions
• Parent coaching for daily reinforcement
• Visual cue cards for home practice
• Songs and movement-based repetition
• Practical everyday signs such as eat, more, help, all done, milk, and sleep

Early sign language can:

• Reduce frustration in infants and toddlers
• Support earlier communication
• Strengthen parent-child connection
• Enhance cognitive and language development

Sessions are available privately or in small group format for families who would like to learn together.

4-session Intro Series (2 weeks) $250 per child
